Disruption in integration business

Disruption in integration business

Why are 90% of all integrations build between 2 systems, while you actually need 5-8 systems to work together?

Habit and anxiety could very well be the answer to that question.

And we all know this from our self. When we finally find a system that we can handle and deal with, then we accept that it might not be perfect, as long as we feel that the system is doing okay, and are helping us a good part of the way, we accept that it doesn’t go all the way, we accept that we cannot do all that we would like it to actually be able to. We settle with less but we could actually get a lot more out of our systems if we dared to change the way they connect with each other.

But we don’t dare, cause what could happen, we might ask our self. We have all heard about systems that break all the time, we have all heard about big IT development projects that have gone bad, we might even have experienced it our self, or at least we know about someone who has.

And we don’t wanna go that way, cause our system is almost working, so we solve with less, and hold our breath that nothing will go bad for us and our systems.

But, as I heard at a seminar on Roger.ai’s event the other day, the speakers from DNA told, that they as consultants have learned that if a company lacks to develop in the way they work, and in the way to use new technology, they would rapidly be run over by new comings, that understands all about new systems and new technology, and how to gain traction when using such systems.

At the Event, i spoke with an old friend – Alexander from Value, and we actually discussed what could be done with the new IPASS technology that Wedoio are using. Imagine that you could set up an integration between your ERP and your MAIL system, without the need of a developer. That don’t sound that hard, doesn’t it? But then imagine that you at the same time want to integrate the customer data from your e-commerce shop with both systems, at the same time, and naturally update your CRM system too, making all the data ready to use, and to handle, without doing anything. You could even add a system as Contract book and get it to send out and manage a contract.

Not it’s getting a bit complicated!, and now that we are on a role, imagine that when your customer accepts the contract, the order will be released to delivery in your ERP automatically, without any need of hands-on in this whole process.

This is what we will see happening in the coming years. Full-scale setups to automate most of your business, and give you back the time, to keep a focus on doing what you are the best in the world to do.
